Natural Smoky Citrine Tower

A rare crystal that is a yellow to yellow-orange or yellow-green variety of quartz.  Citrine can be found in the same geological environments as smoky quartz and is often associated and intergrown with it.
 
Please note, amethyst is usually heated to reinact the crystal characteristics and formation.  I have also seen opalite glass which has been died yellow to imitate natural citrine.  Please do not be misold these for natural citrine.
