Red Jasper Palmstone

Red Jasper is actually a variety of quartz, made up of big crystals instead of fiberous layers such as Agate.  Embedded hematite and iron oxide are a result of Jasper's deep red colour. It originates from many places around the world including Brazil, France, Germany, India, Russia, and the USA.  You see them in cracks and veins of volcanic rocks!
