Snowflake Obsidian Palm

Black obsidian is formed when a volcano erupts and the lava cools very quickly. The "snowflakes" in snowflake obsidian are quartz crystals that have formed through changing the structure of the original obsidian.
 
This is an amazing crystal for those that are overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. It feels so nice and comforting to hold!
 
Obsidian is found near volcanoes in locations which have undergone rhyolitic eruptions. These are countries such as Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Australia, Canada, Chile, Georgia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Scotland, The Canary Islands, Turkey and the United States of America.
